i recently bought a new pair of eye glasses that have a thick dark frame and since then ive gotten many compliments on my new look. many of my girl friends have told me i should dress more metrosexual because id get more attention. im a shy guy and i would see this as a good way to feel more confident.
what are the characteristics of a metrosexual? i work at a bank so im always in shirt, tie, n slacks. is that it? or is it tight shirts? does it have to be expensive designer clothes? what is the style?

Just try to spice up your everyday outfits with accessories. Cool glasses is a good start. Try adding cufflinks, scarfs, interesting pattern ties, non-traditional color shirts like lilac, periwinkle blue, yellow and such to your slacks. And don't forget wearing a nice cologne too. Hip haircut won't hurt either. Hope I gave you some ideas. Good luck!

I am not completely up so speed on the metrosexual topic, but, I know, you mind find a metrosexual a a salon / spa. They would get manicure's, pedicures, eyebrow waxes, etc.. So, they may look or have slight femine characteristics, but, they are not gay. Metrosexuals wouldn't have beards, mustaches, etc.

the clothes do not have to be expensive designer, they can be cheaper prices clothes that have the same look as the expensive ones. The look you want to acheive is a well polished, groomed and well dressed man who pays attention to style, trends, grooming and can sometimes be so well in tune, that can be mistaken for a gay guy. Which, might I say really know how to have fun.

A "Metrosexual" is just a guy who wants the chic of being Gay but is too much of a coward to actually be Gay. Don't be "Metrosexual," just be a guy.
