Aditional Comments!
First of all AROD will play 3rd base unless we trade Orlando Cabrera to NY which means AROD can take ss...
Also from what I hear the trade will be Orlando Cabrera, Chone Figgins, Krod and maybe Jeff Mathis.... I WOULD MAKE THIS TRADE IN A HEARTBEAT!! P.S. WE ARE NOT LA!!!!
WE ARE ANAHEIM!!!!

Off the record, the Angels should be renamed the California Angels. Anaheim Angels sounds too tacky and so does Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Yet if Moreno cut the team name to Los Angeles Angels, I do not have a problem with that. I mean after all they were called the Los Angeles Angels from 1961-4. Again, had the Angels not won the 02 Series, I doubt anyone would care what they are called. A trade for Alex Rodriguez, it is feasible but difficult. Retain Figgins and Francisco Rodriguez. Mathis is expandable since he was given an opportunity last year but did not prove himself.

Dont get too cocky. Wered you here Alex Rodreguiz is going to California? Why is Garret Anderson in Bold? Youre forgetting who else you have in the competition :
Line Up
Yankees
1. Johnny Damon
2. Derek Jeter
3. Alex Rodreguiz
4. Bobby Abreu
5. Jason Giambi
6. Jorge Posada
7. Robinson Cano
8. Heidiki Matsui
9. Whats - His- Name- Who plays first base.
Pitching Rotation
1. Andy
2. Mike Mussina
3. Rodger Clemens ? ? ?
4. Chein Ming Wan
5. Kei Iwaga
Feelling Confident Yet? Try the Mets,
Line Up (Stars Olny)
1. David Wright
2. Carlos Beltran
3. Paul Luduca
4. Forgot his name, he plays Leftfield and replaced Cliff Floyd
5. Carlos Delgado
Pitching Rotatin
1. Tom Glaivline
2. Pedro (Not Untill June)
3., Orlando Hernandez
Two of the most dominat teams in both leagues, im sorry even if youre Angels get A-Rod they will go as far as the ALDS, Not the World Series, theyd get a boost of 10-15 games.....

Ok, there are a couple of things wrong with your theory. One A-Rod would bat in the No. 3 spot. Two the Angles all ready have Figgins at 3B. Three don't expect some of those players you mentioned to still be there if a trade did go through. Four, Red Sox would be more likely to get him with Lowell contract letting up at the end of the season. But, yes that would be a killer team if A-Rod went to the Angles'.

No it doesn't make the Angels contenders. I'm a Yankee fan, and I'm telling you that teams will pitch around Guerrero to get to A-Rod in big spots, especially in the post-season.
I'm also not sold on Matthews as he's only had one good year, and has the HGH thing surrounding him. Anderson's best years are behind him, he's no where near the hitter he was, Morales is unproven, and Figgins had a bit of a down year last year. I think it's a decent lineup, but not one that can't be pitched to.

He didn't make the Mariners a contender, he didn't get the Rangers out of last place, and he hasn't help the Yankees win a title. What would make anyone think he could do that in Anaheim? To me, he seems like a player that, while good, brings down the overall quality of a team.

I think it will help. The Angels already have a great lineup without AROD. The Angels could have a chance without him.

I think they have a fair enough team now to contend. A-Rod would make them better for sure, but will he perform in October? That's the question.

Then he would fail in October in Anaheim instead of New York.
