make SIM 2 movies?

which program is best for making sims 2 movies and music videos. I have tried using windows movie maker. It turns out blurry. i also have tried video impressions. i can't figure out how to add music

i use sony Vegas 6.0 to make my videos, and it can make them up to 1080P HD quality
