It looks like Number 1 wins the popular vote SO FAR, though I an a #2. I like to watch the movie and if that's great, then I'll read the book for extra details they didnt have time to explain or show in the movie.

Read the book then watch the movie. The book is more detailed. The movie sometimes leaves out a lot of information that is in the book.

Usually the movie shows more than the book says about things....

But, I love to read the books first and then go see the movie. Mainly because usually the book is written first then the movie later...

1)Read the book first, then see the movie!

I usually read the book and ignore the movie. The few movies I've seen that are based on books have left a lot to be desired.

I like to read the book first. The book is always better. My favorite of all time is "The Shining" by Steven King. The book is so much better than the movie ( the movie was good). The book describes the scenes so much better.

I will not see a movie based on any good book I've read. It just makes me so mad if the movie is better. I'm dealing with this issue in therapy

read the book and if you liked the book watch the movie sometime. it's probably not going to be as good as the book but it's fun to watch and criticize.

Book first, then movie.... the book is usually better- more detailed. But, it can be fun to see how they envision each character in the movie
