Seems like there has not been a show like it since it was canned, and more than a few shows have tried.

I hate the x-files. My least liked show.

I miss it desperately, that's why I own all 9 seasons on dvd. The show was not canned. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson both wanted out, to persue another direction in their careers, so Chris Carter had no choice but to end it. The show could not stand with both of them gone permanently, and he was wise enough to see that, however, I had heard there may be a second movie, thats probably only if he can talk the 2 stars into it! Don't hold your breath!

How can you miss it? Its like Star Trek,some channel somewhere is showing right now.I know Sci-fi channel shows it in 3 hour blocks at least once a week. It pops up almost daily on the other networks

That was a great show.But when David Duchovny left and they had that "search" for Mulder and Robert Patrick and Annabeth Gish came on with Gillian Anderson;the show jumped the shark.The chemistry between Mulder and Scully was what made the show for me.

Yeah, I started missing it about the fifth season or so. After the movie came out and they relocated from Vancouver to L.A., the show just never had the same vibe after that. But those first four seasons were awesome.... sigh.

We have them all on DVD, so we sit and watch them from time to time. Yes, though, I hate not having a quality show to sit down and make me think!! LOL CSI is a good fill in, but I've got to have my X-files fix!

oh my god i used 2 love that show even tho i was young wen it was on and it used 2 scare the **** outta me i wish i could get all the episodes on dvd itd b so cool
