One of the more decent structure decks straight from the box might have to be the Spellcaster's Judgment. My friend wanted to start off in Yugioh and we got him that one. He turned around and got pretty good pretty quickly with it. If you are building a deck from scratch 2 decks that see a lot of play are Cyber Dragon build decks and Monarch decks. If you are looking to make just a basic deck then sticking with almost a same theme throughout is normally a good thing...eg beatdown, stall, deckout, life point damage....or go with just a regular type...eg all machine, warrior, dragon, spellcaster....hope this helps you out any.
