I had it since September, been many times in a doctor, PT and had cortisone injection and planing to have another one.I had a massage, used a hot compress. Can a chiropractor help me? although I'm not in pain like it used to be but I can't lift my left arm high enough to apply deodorant. I followed what the PT told me to do at home regarding excercise.

It could take up to 2 years to heal. There is no definitive "best practice" for frozen shoulder...but typical treatments include PT, cortisone injection, osteopathic techniques, accupuncture, and (as a last result) manipulation under anesthesia. Frozen shoulder usually goes through stages...the "thawing" stage takes the longest...usually 6-18 months after the onset of symptoms. This is long after physical therapy is finished...so be sure to keep up the home exercise program.

I had 2 frozen shoulders. I had a friend pray for me and I found relief and healing too. It is now many years. Get a good friend who believes God. Doctore help a lot and my mother and sister were doctors, one still is.

Write for free prayer to wesprayer@yahoo.com if you need prayer.

It takes a long time. My physical therapist had me doing daily stretches and pulls using rubber tubes. She also physically stretched my shoulder pushing on my are. It sounds like you need to go back for more physical therapy.

It takes months ~ sometimes longer. You are doing all the right things, believe me, I've had the same ~ Good luck! :)
