The midwest and the south have a higher rate of obesity, a lower median income per family on average, and don't always offer the best education. If you look at the west coast and the northeast, do you think the more liberal political convictions tie in with a more educated, affluent lifestyle? Why or why not?

The better off, unfortunately, have more chances to break through the chains of lies and deceit that surround our society. They want to change things, and that is the definition of liberalism.

Too bad the lesser classes (and yes, there is definitely a class system in America) don't get as many chances.

I don't buy it. I look at it this way: Demand for property on the coast is high, driving up real estate, which drives up cost of living, which means that people that live in those areas will tend to be more educated, so that they can have the job that can allow them to afford that real estate. You seem to believe that since it happens that these areas are more liberal that it must be that liberals are more educated.

Well as a self-employed Midwestern former liberal, allow me tell you the TRUTH: The TRUTH is that college educated people that were raised with a silver spoon in their mouth generally have absolutely zero common sense. They are absolutely clueless about the real world. And spending their entire career commuting in their air-conditioned Audi's to their high-rise office doesn't help wise them up either. THIS lack of common sense and wisdom makes them particularly susceptible to the liberal ideology. Yeah, I used to fall for their lies too, but I've been around the block, as has many of the midwesterners and southerners. We see right through the lies.

Not to mention the fact that the professors (those that have the littlest real-world experience) are actively brainwashing the students into their fantasy world of liberal ideology.

And lastly, don't ever mistake "college" education for "good" education, just like you should judge someone's intelligence by the amount of college education they have.

Cut and dry, the liberal point of view is entertained by an overwhelming majority of Scholars nationwide. The acquistion of higher education incorporates a wide variety of studies resulting in the evolution of a truly humanitarian understanding of the world. There is no successful, documented civilization now, or in historical terms, created by the conservative philosophy of governance--Go figure.

There is no such correlation for liberals or conservatives.

However, you will find that Libertarians, especially Radical Libertarians such as those at lewrockwell.com and other similar sites, correlate to high intelligence.

liberals generally have a higher average IQ than conservatives, but they severely lack common sense, and a sense of reality. they are delusional. many conservatives are to a certain degree, but not as bad as liberals.
