At the end of the 1st Lion King, Rafiki holds up Simba's kid. In the beginning of the 2nd Lion King, Rafiki holds up Simba's kid. Are these two kids the same?

At the end of The Lion King...it is Simba's daughter Kiara that Rafiki is holding.
In The Lion King 1 1/2...as Timon and Pumbaa are on their journey....it is Simba being held up.
In The Lion King 2 it is Simba's daughter Kiara...it is just a continuation of the first lion king movie.
Nala is Kiara's mother. Simba's mate.
Lion King 1 1/2 kind of makes it confusing because it is basically The Lion King (1) as seen from Timon and Pumbaa's point of view instead of Simba's. Hope this helps :)

No in the first one he is holding Simba. The Lion KIng 1 1/2 is a prequel so Rafiki would have to be holding Mufasa, Simba's dad

no there not the same kid. the first movie, the kid was a boy. the second movie the kid was a girl.
