I need horse help!!!!?

Question

Okay well I just got a horse but I have been riding for a while I gave my riding things away like y breeches and chaps but i dont know what size breeches to get!I am 5'7'' and Im skinny
i weigh 120 pounds and I dont know what size breeches to get and I was looking for someone that has a pair they dont need.

Well i suggest you go to a tack shop or petsmart to get your breeches-- they often have consignment and it probably wouldn't be best to buy breeches through yahoo-- try e-bay if you prefer buying online-- although you can never know if they fit until they are purchased ( it's best to be able to see, touch and try them on!)
I'd say if you have tall boots you can get a child's large-- they will be short on you but the tall boots always cover it. I'm 5'6 and 100 lbs, My legs are so long it's hard to find breeches-- so i know where you're coming from. You could also try an adult small or XS-- i often find Devon Aires fitting me the best-- they can also shrink up fairly well with a few washes and aren't expensive at all.

Well, to find your size, take a flexible tape measure...like they use for sewing, and measure your waist. That will give you your size. If your legs are long, go for long, if they are not, get regular.

If they are regular breeches, measure your natural waist, near your belly button. If they are low rise, measure where they would fall.

Sorry, I can't help you with getting a pair, I am 5'11'' and 130lbs, so I am a bit bigger!
