Simple answer............ no.

First off, there are already laws against distracted driving, there doesn't need to be any more. Every state has them and most municipalities have noise & nuisance laws on top of that.

This is an issue for states & local governments, not the federal government. The federal government has very narrow reign in making laws that affect the states. The Constitution lays out very specific powers it grants the federal government and everything not listed is left to the individual states. The federal government already is involved in many areas in which it shouldn't be.

They should pass a bill to make it illegal to listen to Rush Libaugh in your vehicle. His verbal diarreah is enough to turn otherwise rational thinking people into morons.
