1. P1V1 = P2V2 V2 = P1V1/P2
V2 = (40.0)(12.3)/60.0) = 2/3(12.3) = 8.2L

2. P1V1 = P2V2 V2 = P1V1/P2
V2 = (1.00)(3.60)/(2.50) = 1.44L
