Yes, dogs and cats are lactose intolerant. The milk isn't doing any nutritional good, and you are likely to see diarrhea or some loose stool.
Milk doesn't cause any life threatening problems, but I still wouldn't feed it to your pets.

NO ADULT IN THE WORLD TOLERATES MILK FROM COWS. Milk is great for baby cows. Dark chocolate is bad for dogs, our milk chocolate has very little chocolate and would take a lot of it to cause serious problems, but still not worth the risk. Some foods are just toxic to the dog and can cause Liver filter stress, some can stress older dogs and some cause Stomach lining problem. Chocolate, the dark chocolate is the worst Nuts, Walnut, pecan, Macadamia Turkey skin Pits of fruits, pear, plum, apricot, apple Rhubarb leaves Yeast dough Coffee Tomato leave Hops Broccoli, large amounts Nutmeg Raisins Raw potatoes Candy Grapes, Citrus oils Fat trimmings Vitamins with iron Liver (in large amounts Mushrooms Raw fish. Artificial sweeteners

some dogs and cats are lactose intolerant just like people are, but not all. as long as you are only giving them a reasonable serving of milk they will be fine.

Both dogs and cats can be lactose intollerant but if they are it should show up quite quickly.
It is best not to give kittens or puppies cow milk.
We had one dog who would not touch fresh milk but if you put sour milk down it could not get through it fast enough.

Ive heard that it is bad to give them milk. its just not natural in there diet, so I would recommend she doesn't do that. but I am not sure if they are lactose intolerant, but they may be if its not natural to them.

I give my cats milk, too, and they like it. I would trust their instincts: if they drink it, it is probably good for them. I think the same stands for dogs, too. (puppies or kittens are different: they need their mothers milk or - in lack of that - the subsitute from the petstore.
