I live in an apartment and don't really have a place for them to hang dry..

The best way to wash jeans so that they won't shrink is to wash them in cold water (with like colors of course).

The best way to dry them is to hang them up, you say that you don't have anywhere to hang them but you can easily put them on a clothes hanger and pin them (DON'T FOLD!) by the waist or legs, leaving them to hang down.

If you insist on drying them with an electric dryer you can put them on a setting with air dry (NO HEAT!).

I really suggest you to hang them they smell better and they last longer.

Wash them in cold water and hang them from the shower curtain in the bathroom. Toss them in the dryer on low or no heat for about 5 minutes to soften them up.

Turning a garment inside-out helps to retain the color and any detailing. It has nothing to do with sizing.

Wash them inside out and hang to dry in your shower. Just be sure to take them out before you turn on the shower.
