3 should be fine, you just have to introduce them the right way..

When you get the new mouse, take her home and clean out the cage to get rid of the other two mice's scents...
Introduce them in a nutral territory...an empty bath tub usually works best...
With mice, I would introduce them one at a time...
Put the new mouse in the tub with one old mouse(at the same time)...they should start sniffing each other, then cleaning each other...if there's no problems with the fist one, then do the same thing with the second one...
If there are no broblems with either one...put all three in there together...
If they all get along(you will easily be able to tell if they're getting along) then go a head and put them in the clean cage together...
There really souldn't be a problem if you introduce them this way....

If they don't get along though...you'll either need to take the new one back or get her another cage...

...hope this helps...good luck....

("Kayla E.".....really?? WTF?....you never want to put the opposite sex together...for many reasons, with mice and rats females do get along...males normally do not...you might get a best answer if you give a good answer....)

Not absolutely certain about mice I used to keep rats and at one time I had 15 females in one cage and they were just fine.
Rats and mice are social amimals and 3 mice should have no prob as long as they all same sex

i do no longer think of you will possibly desire to attempt, easily. Male mice are very territorial if placed with different male mice and till they're mutually from delivery, it somewhat wont artwork and you will purely % one extra 2 cages. many times it wont even artwork out in the event that they're from an identical muddle because of fact while they attain sexual adulthood, they might start to combat! interior the wild, mice stay in communities with one male and quite a number of different women, it extremely is definitely the clarification adult males are not getting alongside. I propose purely spending extra time including your mouse, for the reason which you do no longer % to possibility it.

as long as the cage is big enough and they are not to much bigger than the little girl you are bringing home. make sure you have somewhere else to put her if they try to hurt her.

the two you already have might attack the other one. You could try putting it in there, but I seriously think either one or both of your current pets would fight it.
