Instead of having to always tell myself that I have problem because I am not happy, I feel better to accept myself as an unhappy and depressed person... Just would like to know what do you think?

Anyway, thanks for drop by.

im going to apply a little logic. The whole point of being happy is to affirm you have acheived something for the better. If you are happy from being an overall unhappy and depressed person, you are not using your happiness in its proper way. Your happiness is making you become - as i see it - complacent. Anyways, i WOULD tell you that maybe you need to change direction in your life and try something else, but you havent explained anything really that concrete about your situation so i wont on-the-record say that. I have to give you credit for at least being realistic with yourself and the state you are in, but you should be repelled by your misery not comfortable with it. Don't fetter yourself. Seize the greatness of your life, however bleak it may be. Put up a fight for your existence and claim your humanity.

It is important to realize where you are at (even if you aren't doing that well) and to accept that this is the state of mind that you currently at. No one knows yourself better than you do.
But I will submit that there are better states of mind than being unhappy (even depressed). I have known a few people that were depressed and rose above it and they wouldn't go back for anything.
I also think that it is very important that you come to accept yourself as you currently are. Don't think in terms that being unhappy means there is something wrong with your essence - it is akin to an athlete that has a sprained ankle. It would be better for him if he didn't have a sprained ankle. I think that realizing that you are basically a good person that happens to be unhappy is the right way to look at it.
My father used to say that being poor is no disgrace but it is not great honor either. By the same token, being only a little happy beats being unhappy. Maybe talking to a counseller will make life nicer?

I have been feeling like that. I am becoming too comfortable being sad and unhappy. But I have to shake myself out of it. It isn't normal to want to stay the same. Grwoth and change is a part of life. You have to fight the urge to settle into life. Happiness is life's true experience.

I like that you're not trying to be fake, but remember... our outlook on life depends on attitude.

It's not good to fake yourself out, but try to figure out what's not making you happy. Solve these issues, by coming up with solutions. What are you unhappy about? Not happy where you are? Remember, the future will come... just work towards it.

"You're as happy as you make up your mind to be"
You're scared to change into a happy person.
Do it on Tuesday!
Lots of bright light, no darkened rooms.
Lots of bright 60's type music.
Talk faster, smile more, find some people who don't know you as an unhappy person
Once you get into the habit, its easy.
Help somebody with something.
Also when your happy don't forget you were sad, adn when you're sad don't forget you were happy.

Only you can change your own mindset.

Yes, you are a normal person. That's why I have the courage to suggest that you change your line of reasoning as all normal persons do.

That is up to you but I feel you can be happy. Be true to who you are, that is the most important thing.
We all struggle but you have the right too to be happy!
