oh no I have to tighten it will drive me crazy

I tighten it because the dripping is really annoying and you can waste a lot of water if you let it drip.

I have to tighten it. My sense of social responsibility, knowing that I am otherwise contributing to the world's water shortage, will make me do it. Or I might apply a lateral solution and call the plumber to do it for me. That way, both my burden of responsibility and my plumber, who charges like a wounded bull, are both happy.

Leave it until it gets worse then tighten it.
