Well I prefer the African elephant, mainly because of their ears. They are so cute and floppy and they kinda look like africa. And their snouts are different. The end where they pick things up is shaped like the inside of a walnut while the asian elephants is narrower. The asian elephant is smaller in size as the African elephant is quite large. Also the African elephant is said to be better bonded with their young while the Asian elephant will leave their dead young after only a few minutes but an African will stay for days.
Thats what I have learned about them, some of it may be wrong but thats just what I remember.

I like the African better because it is larger, stronger, forms herds for strength in numbers, wilder, and more aggressive and dominant. I love Asian elephants because there are many domesticated as awesome steeds and can follow some 22 commands!! Very, very smart! They are much more friendly and nicer. It is tough, but African wins!!
