Every one in the town dies or gets sick from eating this yogurt that has something in it my mom says garret morris of the jamie foxx show fame is in it but she does not remember the name of the movie netiher i have only seen it once it in my life and i was like five or four.

It's a movie called "THE STUFF" from 1985. Here is the synopsis:
A new ice cream-like product becomes immensely popular, taking the entire country by storm. Finding their livelihood threatened, a group of ice cream moguls employ an industrial saboteur to uncover the creamy sensation's ultrasecret formula. Teamed with a fallen cookie entrepreneur, he learns that, although it doesn't have any calories, the stuff possesses one highly undesirable side-effect; it turns people into murderous zombies. i think it is called "the fuzz" it was one of my fav cheesy movies it was made in the early 80's. omg i can't believe it i totally used to watch this all the time on HBO. that was garret morris. you guys are right it is "the stuff"

form of sounds like Fallen. Its about a guy who became executed yet got here back to correct revenge by technique of possessing residing human beings... Has Denzel Washington in it... yet i imagine that became round 1990 some thing so per chance no longer, lol :D
