Cartoon Network had technical difficulties. It's a shame...Ep 80 is one of my favorites. We didn't even get to see Tsunade or Itachi.

Don't worry, they're reshowing it in two weeks. NO NARUTO THIS WEEK ON TOONAMI...but there is Naruto Shippuuden 6 and 7 this Thursday =)

During the episode's first airing on Cartoon Network, March 24, 2007, technical difficulties caused the episode to cut off while Kakashi was at the KIA monument just as he says "...I've been here since" A full 5 minutes of the episode were not aired. Because of this, the part of the episode showing Itachi wasn't seen, nor was Jiraiya's short flashback of a young Tsunade. This error created a cascade failure, resulting in the rest of the Toonami line-up, One Piece, MÄR, and Prince of Tennis, being shifted 5 minutes earlier. Even Adult Swim was affected, with the block starting at 10:55 PM instead of 11 PM. The episode is scheduled to be re-aired April 7, 2007, at 8:30 PM, giving another chance for the missing 5 minutes to be shown.
