Well.. it depends whether you want to take it apart later or not

if you want to take it apart to play as a puzzle again, and then frame it, you could try blu tac.

If you want it to remain mounted permanently, then either use the specifically made jig saw glue (which i personally have not heard of), or you can use PVC to do the job (and if memory serves me well, it's cheaper too)

The easiest is diluted white glue such as Elmers. Mix with a little water so that you can spread it in a light coat over the puzzle with a sponge or bristle brush. I line the table with wax paper and start with the front. after you cover with the glue the puzzle may warp a little but when it dries you turn it over and do the other side it will flatten out. When you glue the backside let dry a little then cover with wax paper or plastic and weigh down with books

The best way to glue and preserve you puzzles is with a glue that is formulated especially for puzzles. A good sized bottle of this glue is sold on line , for $3.50, at this site.http://www.jigsawgenie.com/puzzle_glue.html

I know it is sold at Joann fabrics, at least the one i work at. But if you don't have one around you it's probably sold online, i would suggest using a glue specifically made for puzzles since other glues may damage the pieces or yellow over time.

Mod-podge or any decopage glue will do. Mod-podge says on the label that you can use it on puzzels. You can get it in matte or glossy. Any craft store will have it and you can also get it at Wal-mart in the craft department.

Apparently I'm funny... I'm not sure how, because I don't think I am. I guess "unintentionally funny" would best describe me.
