Angel was a vampire who had a sole. He was tormented by the Gypsy's. Plus it was the spin off of Buffy the vampire slayer.That's how angel started out because him and Buffy where sole mates but never could be together because he was a vampire and she was human. So that who angel was.

all are cancelled though
