You're probably from the south, and you're ordering sweet tea in the north. I live in St. Louis (where we don't have sweet tea) and I serve tables and every time somebody asked for sweet tea I thought they just meant tea with sweetener packets because I had never heard of sweet tea. I learned after about a year of serving that sweet tea is pre-sweetened tea. I never knew. That's probably what's happening. Now I tell tables we don't have sweet tea, just regular with sweetener packets.

Because you can always add sugar, Sweet n'Low, Equal, etc. to unsweetened while sweetened tea forces you to take their interpretation of tea's proper sweetening with sugar.
I note that you don't remark on getting iced tea when you ask for tea, when tea is properly served hot with honey available although I prefer to drink it black.

whether tea has sugar that is a few distance greater advantageous for you. It truly helps you take in greater water, it has antioxidants, it may the two grant help to sleep or wake you up (finding at one among those tea) or perhaps develop your metabolism. and of direction, that is all organic. Soda on the different hand is loaded with sugar, will rot your tooth, and that is usual something that folk in simple terms shouldn't drink. Tea is larger, drink up.

Depends on where in the country you live. Some regions only sell unsweetened tea. It seems you're not at "home" where ya should be! Come on down and we'll take good care of you! =)
