At the risk of sounding like one of those cry baby dukie fans, sometimes things are just so obvious it has to be said.
Looks like you gotta have 5 players in uniform, and 3 people in stripes to beat Carolina.
If there is any good news out of this..it will be that all Carolinas players will now return for next year.

Tweety: I agree that THEY shot pretty BAD in the last 10 minutes of THE game and in the OVERTIME. But it would HAVE never got to that point had THE refs actually called ALL the fouls that WERE committed. Its not Carolinas fault THAT the hoyas fouled so much..so I dont PLACE too much into how MANY foul shots they took...why are WE using caps every other WORD?...anyway...its obvious The Heels threw the game away..but it DID take 5 players and 3 refs for it to happen!

I couldnt have been the only one that noticed Billy Packer announced that the hoyas big guy would now be able to be in the game for the duration...he announced that with over 5 minutes to go in the game..and he repeated it around 3 minutes to go and with 2 minutes to go...I guess he knew the plan.

Carolina got screwed because the refs wouldn't call any fouls in the second half. Hansborough was hammered twice in the OT. Once it was a no call, the other time it was a jump ball. It is obvious the officials and the NCAA want Georgetown in the Final Four. Green walked in his game winning shot against Vandy...even CBS said so, yet their was no call. Georgetown...straight thug, no fouls when they counted down the stretch.

I do agree the shot at the end was dumb. Why the long 3?

Here we go again with blaming the refs...

I guess the referees did a great job in Carolina's 31 wins this year... the only reason the Tar Heels lost those 7 games was because the refs screwed them.

(Carolina might have upped their chances of advancing if they could have scored a basket here and there in the overtime, instead of throwing up one BRICK after another... they looked totally pathetic).

Carolina shot 34 free throws today, vs. only 18 for Georgetown. Hansbrough shot 16 FT's himself...But they only shot 5-20 from downtown... they flat out sucked...

Carolina also had the last shot to win it in regulation... BRICK!!

Carolina went ONE for TWENTY-THREE down the stretch from the field, including TWELVE straight bricks in overtime... and you want to blame the REFS????

Get over it...They did not deserve to win that game. They were lucky to take it to overtime.

(Carolina should have been an awesome team THIS year).

my thinking exactly. By not making the final four maybe we have another good chance to see these awesome players again next year.....a year old and a year wiser.

Should be an awesome team!
