It looked to me like they didn't want the National Title at all. It's like once Georgetown caught up they gave up. What do you think?

UNC found out exactly how USC felt. NC went completely cold, running out of gas at the end of the 2nd half, and couldn't find the hoop at all in overtime. Certainly disappointing for the team and their fans, but made the day for Georgetown.

No, Carolina got screwed because the refs wouldn't call any fouls in the second half. Hansborough was hammered twice in the OT. Once it was a no call, the other time it was a jump ball. It is obvious the officials and the NCAA want Georgetown in the Final Four. Green walked in his game winning shot against Vandy...even CBS said so, yet their was no call. Georgetown...straight thug, no fouls when they counted down the stretch.

I do agree the shot at the end was dumb. Why the long 3?

I don't think UNC got tired at the end. The pace of the game in the 2nd half didn't seem as fast as the 1st half. Seems to me they had no answer for the Hoyas' zone defense and Georgetown started to box out on the defensive end.

I think you deserve an award for not blaming the loss on the refs! You're exactly right... they just gave up... between the last few minutes of regulation and the first 4 minutes of overtime, they shot 1 for 23... as ESPN would say, that's not gonna get it done.

Georgetown wanted it more. Plain and simple.

They thought they had it made and were "coasting". Then they couldn't recover when Georgetown came back to make a game of it.

As they say, once you turn the switch off, it's hard to turn it back on.

They probably couldn't take the pressure, overtime is a strain.

They're a young team, they'll be back in the same position in a few years and who knows, they'll be able to rally then.

UNC = Heartless, gutless losers.

What a joke.

I think they gave up, even Hansbrough.
