I would say so. With Rusedski seemingly retired and Henman well and truly on the wane, it's nice to see that British tennis has been given a shot in the arm. His game is fascinating to watch, almost like Karol Kucera in the 90's. Although he mainly wins with placement and variety, he is more than capable of unleashing some powerful groundstrokes and stinging serves when he needs to. He has also improved in leaps and bounds in terms of his ranking and results over the past year. He defended his San Jose title earlier in the year, once again beating Andy Roddick in the process and followed it up by reaching his first Masters series semi in Indian Wells. He also got to the fourth round at the Australian Open, before losing to Nadal in a five set classic. If he continues to improve at the same rate, he should have a great future ahead of him. It's just a shame that there are no other young Brits following his lead. Maybe that will come, but for now it's great to see Murray up there with the best in the game.

He could deffenatly be the answer. He is a great player and has potential to be really great in a couple of years. Nadal and Federer are still above him right now. But who knows, he is still young, and at this point the biggest chance for Britian to be great.

i agree he seems to have the ability but maybe he gotta work on his fitness for 5 setters get tough for him(remember the nadal-murray match at the aussie open where he fell 6-1 in the final set)
otherwise he is pretty good but his fitness sure needs improvement.

Yes he definitely has a future and a realistic chance of winning a grand slam. The next Brit to win wimbledon, give him 3 years and you will see.

He's rubbish and just slightly better than Henman. Definitely not in the same league as Federer or Nadal.
