My honey said post this. In the animal, kingdom pertaining to predators, lions specifically, the male defends the territory from rogue males looking to take over while the Lioness does the hunting to feed the pride; this is instinct and natural order. Some "chicks" find it stange that I hunt. I got my 15th deer in my life last season on the Eglin AFB reservation AKA the range and it has many good little hunting spots. I come from a family of avid hunters and have been raised this way. Guys think it's odd too because I don't "look" like the huntress type. My neigbor saw the last one I shot, SMALL, said "you shot a friggin jack rabbit! you should be ashamed of your self!". LOL
Tonight I made some shish-ka-bobs with the pathetic amount of meat that little guy yeilded. I guess I'm trying to ask: At what point did we TRUE providers get away from the duty we used to perform when we were TRUE mamals? Girls don't knock it until you tried it! Trolls, you know where to stick your opinions!

I think that the hunter/gatherer thing went out when people began to change their environment rather than being nomadic. Technology has allowed us to create an "easier" life where it's possible to buy food and other items to meet the needs we have to survive (housing, clothing, etc.).

Personally, I have no objection to hunting - especially since you are a hunter that eats the kill. I do not like hunting for sport - but that's just me.

Don't worry about what other people think - even though you may not "need" to hunt, it's a developed skill that you enjoy. There's no shortage of animals (protected by season and limited by number you may take).

Sorry about the hateful people. Hunting is natural and you eat what you kill and it keeps the stock in good order and free of disease. In the UK the girls that hunt are very sexy in their red coats and white joppers. Ignore those who cursed you,, life is one big food chain. I save save the potatoes, they are a plants baby

my dad and i go hunting, and a lot of people see it as a "problem". it's really dumb. all men ever do is act all macho and prance around like kings. they expect us to wait on them hand and foot, but my guy will have to do the same for me!

Pulling a trigger from a safe distance isn't hunting.

You shouldn't be allowed to use any technology that you couldn't invent/create yourself.
