Lately, I'm looking for a hobby that enables me to both have fun and meet new people. Life's too much of the same hum-drum, go to school, work, and hang out with the guys every weekend.

I won't lie either, preferably I'm looking for a hobby/activity that could increase my chances of "bumping" into those of the opposite sex.

I live in Houston, which is a fairly big city but the only thing I would "really" be interested in is maybe a team basketball league and that requires more money that I'd be interested in putting out.

Then again, I don't know what I might like or not like, so if anyone's got suggestions around my age group, I'd greatly appreciate any advice.

I am taking a singing class and let me tell you, even though I have a boyfriend and I love him with all my heart, if I was single, I would be all over these guys, because they can sing, or they are trying to..... so singing, dancing classes, yoga classes, etc. And try to actually "GET INTO" these activities that you are joining up for because guess what.... we know this trick, the one where you go certain places to meet us..... so you would be alot more exciting if you knew what you were doing instead of just joining classes, hobbies, etc just to meet us and not really learn anything.

There are usually a major shortage of men (especially straight men) joining theatre groups and going to dance classes.

Dancing is the answer for you. When you are dancing you can "bump" into lots of opposite sex types.
