in pokemon emerald when you put a bagon and a pokemon with the move hydro pump in the day care how do you make the bagon learn hydro pump? i've tried learning it with bagon and gyarados but a magikarp always came out of it i realy want that move so please help me out

When breeding pokémon to have a certain move, bear in mind that the male determins the inherited moves and the female determins the species that haatches. In your example, you need a male gyarados with hydro pump to breed with a bagon/shelgon/salamence to get a bagon with hydro pump.

As for mew, it will only appear if you have the music box. It will appear between floors 36 and 98, but only once throughout the dungeon. Get the music box by defeating the regis and claiming the fragments they drop. Mew will most likely give itself away by using transform, so just be patient.

You have the egg move thing wrong you nead a mail Gyarados and a female bagon to get a egg with a new bagon that knows hydro pump.

you may have used a female gyara and a male bagon. use a male gyara and a female bagon and you should get one.

for mew, make sure you have a music box, and travel through levels 38 to i think 98, and it should randomnly appear. be careful, as iirc, it can teleport away.

ok for mew in the red rescue game as u get the rock,ice, & steel part from the regis it will form a music box since mew is tiny and it can transform itself keep a eye out on the mesage
box sometimes it doesn't tell you mew has transformed. also
stay on your toes you might bump into a monster house on any of the floors and mew just be part of the monster house i should know it happend 2 me on the 85th floor with mawhile's,,sandshrews,rhyhorns i hit a sandshrew and it turned out 2 be mew it diguise of course i got rid of the mawhile's,rhyhorns,sandshrews b4 recruing mew which i named mandy. just sure u have a escape rope with u just in case u get hit and need 2 make a exit i know it's a pain in the tail but don't give up trying 2 recruit mew. good luck :)

Magikarp can't learn hydropump. it doesnt learn water moves for some reason. i dont know why.
