That fake lava rock in front of my house. And I do it ever summer getting the water hose off of the wall-stupid!!!

I'm always barefoot and I've stepped on many, many things, mostly nice and some not so nice. But the worst I think are the snails. Not only is crushed snail sticky and hard to clean (less smelly but *much* harder to wash off than dog poo!), I also hate killing a harmless creature, so the sad little crunch they give makes me feel bad. I try to watch where I walk any time after it has rained on a summer evening and I know there will be a lot of them in the back yard, but sometimes when it's very dark I'll overlook one.
