I Even Know What AquaNet is. Im An '80s Wiz. But I Dont Know What'd It Be Like To Live In Em'. I'd Love To Know. Expecally Down In L.A. By The Rain Bow. Well life in the 80's was a great life, with no worries for the future, many good songs, many good cartoons (not stupid like these days)... but above all with great music, say Bon Jovi, Europe, Queen... etc.. OH great memories...

For the last time, Guns N Roses are not an 80s hair band! When, besides the "welcome to the jungle" video, do you see them with hairspray in their hair? They didn't even get popular a until late '88 and they put an end to the hair bands. They were big from '89 to '95. That makes them a 90's hard rock band, not an 80's glam band. Axl rose once said the most insulting thing anyone called him was "Bon Jovi".
As for life in the eighties, it was the same as now, just with less technology and weirder fashion.

Girls dressed like madonna,and some girls did the "pat benatar look" with short dark hair.
I lived in the 80's and I really didnt get into it untill the late 80's when guns and roses and metallica became popular..
Then for me things looked good!!

the 80s were an economic disaster. thank you, ron raygun! hollywood pumped out the cheesiest/poorest acted cold war flicks, e.g., red dawn.
one of my darkest moments was when i realised that after watching a friend take off for a nearby auditorium to see van halen, i'd never have that opportunity. i watched van hagar and subsequently saw david lee roth. but his musicians carried his drunken ace. opening act was tesla. they rocked.
btw, cinderella opened for bon jovi later that same year and were WAY better than the boys from jersey.

love your taste in music. alot of these bands are still touring. try aerosmith, def leppard, the black crowes and slaughter. try the yahoo radio station, it plays all these bands plus more.
