When will these attacks be recognized for what they are? Discrimation meant to dehumanize women and try and keep them from voicing their opinions?

Alexandra show me one example of me calling any man in YA, anything dehumanizing. The only word that I have used is misogynist and that could be applied to you as well, by the terrible way you treat other females.

If you can't substantiate your accusations with factual examples don't bother with the fallacious arguments.

You are a reasonable, matured person with substantiated and well-argued answers and never flaring up using vulgarities at trolls.

The trolls are just the opposite. They are called trolls for a specific reason and the added fact that they are doing this on the women's studies board carries other connotations, if you think psychology is sort of reliable: angry angry 24/7 pms-ing men(yes men do have signs of pmsing), constant rejection by women(no luck with women), bad childhood because of the mother, or bad childhood because of father who is a bad role model(a misogynist). Or rednecks.

Yup. Ignore their answers for the time being, they are nothing. They have to prove their existence on the internet by acting stupid and returning to the same board and posting repeated, illogical things. Maybe they really believe in what they post, maybe they are just having childish fun. But all it shows is that they don't have much of a life or have a significant other..unless they are gays who hate women? And the Yahoo mods should ban them from women's board.

I read both posts and I find it appalling that any man calls a woman names like that....I think these posts should be deleted......I also have to comment on the posts I have seen on this forum where women have told men their mothers should have aborted them......I personally think there is no need for this either.....Posting a different point of view should not make someone subject to put downs and name calling.

Deirdre O, you are too right. Unfortunately, I don't believe Yahoo cares too much about women's equality. It's sad that a corporation with so much influence won't use its power to stop the abuse of women. *sigh*

The reason that these little boys (Tanks and Cassius) resort to name calling and profanity is because they lack the intelligence to back up their assertions. They feel backed into a corner in the face of your rebuttal, so they lash out with this nonsense. However, I think it would be best to boycott their questions altogether, since they just post these lies to get attention. (Arguing with a child is like wrestling with a pig in the mud; after a while, you find out they enjoy it.) I move that we, as respectable, strong women, refuse to comment on questions that are meant to undermine our equality as people!

This includes anti-woman remarks from women like Alexandra. It's unfortunate to see a woman be so content in her oppression. It always saddens me to see one of my sisters, being easily mislead by men, act out against other women. It is this type of aggression against women that keeps us from the social equality we all deserve as people. I can only hope and pray that one day she will open her eyes to the truth. One day, maybe they all will.

Everybody has a slip once in a while. My sister was sort of involved in it so I got a bit emotional and I admit that. That exampel is the only slip ups of me that exist on this board, else you would have also listed the others, after you are done pointing out my spelling errors, or belitteling the sources I link to.
WIth that beeing said you can go now back to your almighty moderators crying over zhe evil patriarchy and feeling all victimized.
Baba Yaga I pointed to sources I deem credibel. The first in the last question wasnt a source but only the newspaper where I got the articel in print. The second was a source dealing with research in America, others posted source featuring similiar numbers. There is not much we can do if you say "I dont believe your sources". I dont believe your sources and anything about your conspiracy theories eithier.
Baba Yaga Wendyg you both need the help of a good shrink.

Why do people get upset at the postings on this forum? It's like a bunch of kids fighting. It is not a big deal. So what if someone called you a name, grow up. It is pretty pathetic how people actually "report" other people like they are really going to hurt you. I just can't believe how hurt some people get from the words of someone they will never know. Sticks and stones people. You become the" victim" when you start to act like it. Your question is the perfect example of what I'm saying.

I don’t know if what they said to you is misogynistic, but it’s definitely disrespectful no matter who it was meant for (man or woman). They need to stop acting like bratty 9 year olds.

Alexandra, please stop. This is the sixth time I’ve read a comment on here where she insults another woman and does nothing but defend men. i think she's just a guy pretending to be a girl on here, there is no way a girl can be that misogynistic.

EDIT!

Rain: i kinda agree with you but you need to calm down. It’s just the internet, it’s not so serious.

Tanks: you need help.

Alexandra: I’m sorry, that was rude of me. I just think that you’re way too hard on women. It’s good to be fair to men but you have got to look at the women’s side too. We do not have equality, not even close, and non-crazy feminists need to stand up and protest that. We don’t need other women scoffing at our goal, and pretending everything is perfect for women in the work place and in life, because it’s not.

EDIT 2!
okay rain. I agree with you but I think by putting all caps (which implies that you’re screaming in e-speak) is excessive. It makes you look juvenile, I just think that if you’re going to argue a point then you shouldn’t sink to their level. And I don’t think that I only think about myself, I care about others. And by the way, I don‘t know how I‘m acting like a “superior mommy”,I’m not even a mommy, lol. Sorry, I didn’t mean to start a fight.

I don't know, Dierdre.
I do think you should be saluted for re-posting them, though.
Those Boys who post on here the way 6th grader males pull pigtails need to be shown what is acceptable and what is not acceptable.
Alas, I think Yahoo doesn't really care.
Good luck

It'll work both ways, Deirdre--because the minute you start putting down men they can come right back at you.

Seems to me you don't want men voicing their opinions--and you're a pretty rabid misandrist from what I can tell! I could just as easily accuse you of "discrimination meant to dehumanize men."

hello: Trust me, I'm a woman. Ask my husband. :) I'm just sick and tired of guys being given the hose. I have a strong sense of fairness.

I'm also laughing at Rain's reply because she's proving my point!

EDIT: Check this out:

The 1971 Declaration of Feminism states, "All of history must be rewritten in terms of the oppression of women. We must go back to ancient female religions like witchcraft."

Also, Deirdre, you attack men when you wrongfully label certain people such as Tanks as misogynistic. They're only telling the truth. Stop looking at things from a misandrist point of view and stop hating on men. I have a little boy and I hate the idea that he might grow up feeling inferior because of radical feminism!

Blablabla. Actually, it often goes both ways. I often see women being condescending to men on this section. You know, some people are not too educated or find it difficult to restrain from insulting people. Honestly, there are worse things here on Yahoo. Please, stop thinking that all men hate women, or think that they are inferior, because it's not true. maybe you should relax a little bit, and try to change your socialising.

Yes.

This is certainly a very serious matter. Obviously the patriarchy is everywhere, trying to keep abusive, oh damn I mean - strong opinionated - women down!

By no means amusing in any way in the slightest.

Of course there is no way that it is our actual opinions that these people do not like, because after all who wouldn't like them (apart from apparently Yahoo as well), so what must be going on here is that they do not like us VOICING our opinions!!

And what is this, they DISAGREE with us, then say things along the lines of we are not telling the truth, or that we are stupid for having ridiculous and bigoted opinions?!???

Proof positive of discrimination. Obviously the abuse we get in return for our abuse, while in our case a righteous display of anger at injustice, in their case is proof of an attempt to dehumanise us.

Why, as I've said before: Calling radical feminists feminazis in order to associate them with nazis is an attempt to dehumanise them, much like what the nazis did in world war II, thus associating THEM with nazis!! I hate nazis!@!

Damn feminist - witchcraft propaganda. Found more of it at wikipedia just now:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dianic_Wicca

"Dianic Wicca, Dianic Witchcraft, and Feminist Dianic Witchcraft are all common titles for the Neopagan Feminist Dianic tradition. While some Dianics self-identify as Wiccans, some prefer the term Witch or priestess of the Goddess."

Looks like we need to start complaining about the patriarchal conspiracy at wikipedia as well.

I think we should rally Yahoo headquarters about this actually. Who's with me?
