In my town, Hollister is sooooo over-rated. Every person that wants to act preppy goes and buys a Hollister logo shirt. Abercrombie owns Hollister, but is the more "classier" version and of course, more expensive. I think A&F has a better reputation. However, I just see too many people wearing their logo shirts and it just gets annoying. It's the same with Aeropostale and American Eagle...
I personally own a lot of clothes from all 4 of the companies, but tend to buy non-logo shirts just because everyone has them and I like to be unique. In the end, it's not about what company you are wearing, but how you look. I say go to Macy's or Filene's and you can find a lot of cool clothing there and give yourself a unique touch.
Oh... and they are not that expensive... $15 for a t-shirt isn't that bad... that's why everyone buys them... of course, the hoodies and sweaters can cost around $80, which is pretty expensive and not a lot of people have them.

I can't say that I do not like the clothing style of Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister, but I can say that I do not wear their clothes. The way I see it, stores like that don't have clothes that you couldn't find anywhere else, but they do have clothes that are more expensive than they need to be. Sure, there are shirts that you can buy for ten dollars or so, but then again, the average has to be at least thirty dollars for t-shirts. Why? Why would you spend 100$ on a pair of jeans with holes already ripped in them? For that same amount of money, you could buy ten shirts anywhere else. To sum it up, the clothes are okay, but I don't see why people think they're so special. I'd prefer to buy more for my money than be considered "cool."

Why is everyone so obsessed with these stores??
They're ok but if you're trying to "look cool" it won't work since it's not like these stores are super pricey or anything.
My gay friend Mitch loves Abercrombie & Fitch.
I hate the loud music they play in the stores.

a. fitch can be expensive, but is really nice quality clothes. hollister has less expensive clothes but i've heard they dont last as long. all of the hco clothes have been fine for me, though. i think theyre clothes are really cute, but the bad thing is they use sweatshops in countries where there arent any enforced labor laws to make their clothes.

its overpriced clothing that causes the largest headache in the world while shopping for it. the combination of deafening techno and a huge *** dosage of cologne and perfume sprayed throughout the store are enough to drive someone to the edge of a cliff. unfortunatly my girlfriend is addicted. have mercy on my soul.

I ⥠<3 the style of their clothes but the have a down side:
~The are expensive
~They are made for super skinny people (e.g. skeletons)
~They dont turn any lights on
Plus sides:
~ They have cute style
~The store itself looks attractive
~Nice flip flops
~Dont turn lights on so they are eco friendly
lol

Actually, I find a lot of their clothes indistinguishable from Old Navy, but more expensive.
