Check for worms, and feed more sweet feed. But, summer is coming and they don't need to carry as much fat layer as winter.

There are three different possibilities why your horse is getting skinny. One is your horse may have worms. There are many different types of worms, but they all can affect a horse's weight. Make sure your horse is being wormed monthly. Another reason may be that the pasture is low quality. make sure the grass is good for grazing, and check weekly for poisonous plants. Your horse may be turned out in a pasture with other horses, so there is probably a hierarchy in the herd. Your horse may be last to get food, so you may want to put your horse in a stall to feed him/her. If the issue persists, contact you large animal vet.

Does she come in at night? Is she still getting her regular grain? If you live up where it has been winter and there is no grass, then that can be an issue too. Does she have loose poo? Is she wormed regulary?

My horses are turned out into the pasture all day, and come into their stalls at night (during the summer). They get their regular grain morning and night, and pasture all day. They also get a small flake of hay at night when they come in.

It is hard to answer your question without more details.

Your horse shouldn't be relying on us....it should be relying on you to make the right decision and call the vet. There are many reasons why a horse drops weight. It's not fair to your horse to play the guessing game until something works. Get your vet out there and get to the bottom of things.

Put something out for her. If she doesn't eat within a 2-3 days, call your vet or seek advice from other horse owners. The other thing I would suggest is that you make sure that you check on her. GOOD LUCK

The pasture isnt good enough quality. Either find a diff one or start feeding her some hay.

If she is getting skinny, obviously she isn't getting enough to eat. Be sure that she has hay and oats available, as you don't want to starve her. Pasture isn't providing enough food at this time, so feed her. Best wishes

if shes not getting enough feed she may be skinny or worms, ask a vet about that-
she might not have enough grass, so give her more hay, and if shes not getting hay already, give her about a flake of any hay BUT coastal its really bad quuality, and if she is already getting alot of feed, buy some weight gain supplement, hope this helps!
GOOD LUCK

De-worm your horse! Feed hay and grain. Possibly have her teeth checked. If the worming and feed do not work.
