Yes. The rope breaks when she's swing across the river and she drowns. Jess is at the art museum at the time, so he's not there to save her. I cried my eyes out at the scene where Jess comes home and learns that Leslie died!

Yes. Jess goes to the musuem with his music teacher and dosen't tell Leslie, so she goes to Terabithia to wait for him. The rope snaps and she hits her head and drowns. In the mean time, Jess is having a lovely day until he comes home to find out that his best and only friend is dead.

yes, leslie ends up dying towards the end of the movie...im NOT gonna say how though...

yea i read the book but didnt she the movie so all i no is that she dies in the book and my cuzin saw the movie and said she died but i dont no about the movie

i read the book. and she dies there. and in the movie im pretty sure she does die there too.
