The story of Rose and Jack is purely fiction. If Rose had really lived she might be alive but I really doubt it considering she was 101 in the movie during the present day shots. I have been to the Titanic Museum in Branson, Mo. It is a wonderful way to take a look at the ship and its real occupants of the time. It is a real eye opener.

No. The ship's story was real. The love story between Rose and Jack wasn't.

No. There was a guy named John Dawson but he was over 50 and there was no Rose on the Titanic. That movie has no good qualities other than the sinking scenes and its unfortunate that thats where everyone gets there knowledge of the Titanic from. The movie was heavily scrutinized from its original version by the corporations council until it was some gay love story.
