You probably won't like my answer but please think about it. I really wish people would not use words like "evil". I doubt that she is on par with mass murderers like, Ted Bundy, Wayne Gacy, Hitler, Idi Amin, Stalin.... The word evil is so much more over the top than it needs to be to describe a teacher and it doesn't really adress the real problems. The other word "hate" is also over the top. What are the problems??? EVERYBODY hates her??? WHY?? Did she kill, molest, torture, anyone??? Is she amoral... what is the real issue???? Hyperbole is actually quite useless in figuring out what's wrong and not being able to describe someone or someone's actions more precisely, shows a real lack of English language skills.

I don't know. I recently observed a teacher who was obviously in the wrong profession. She made sarcastic remarks to the kids and was not organized. She yelled at them at one point. I think all you can do is try and enlist someone to observe them and then that person can hopefully start the ball rolling on some type of removal process. If the teacher has been there a while it can be difficult to get them dislodged.

Depends how mean and in what ways. If she purposely gives bad grades even though knowone deserves it, then you should find evidence and tell you principal. If she is just plain mean, as in not nice, then I guess you'll just have to deal with her or try switching classes to get a different teacher. I think that the most important aspect in a teacher should be whether she teaches well and whether she is fair- other than that try to deal with it or change her.

Okay if everyone is having issues with her they need to go to the principal and speak with them about the issues they are having. After all this is their boss. If there is no results I would seek out the adminstrator and tell them about the complaints. You all need to document what makes her so bad, comments, the way she talks to you ect... They are going to want creditable information. The more people you can get the better, that way the know it is not just a personality conflict between a student and her. Of course you also be asked to be moved out of the class. Talk with your parents and chose the course of action that is best. Good luck!

It is a life lesson. We all have had teachers and bosses that we don't get along with. You have to figure out how to make it work for the duration. It's just like my boss...one of the lowest ranked in the system, and yet we all have to learn to get along. Otherwise I would suffer, and in your case with your teacher, you would suffer. The school year is almost over. I am willing to bet you can smile and make it.

"Kill" her with kindness. Be nice to her and give her genuine compliments (you don't have to lie, but there is something nice you can say about anyone if you look for it). By doing this, you'll help make a difference in her life and may find that it helps to turn the situation around. Why be like everyone else and complain...

Just try to pass her class so you don't have to put up with her ever again (hopefully). Either that or you could try switching classes, but if everyone hates her, as you said, that may be kind of hard =/
