is it stupid that you like a guy sooo soo much that you don't want to go out with him because your afraid that the relationship won't last long and if we do break up that i won't like him anymore and i don't want to lose that?

No its not stupid, it just means you like him alot and dont want to ruin anything that could happen. I have the same thing happening to me. You can add me as a friend if you want to and I can give you advice.
