I do not believe in standardized testing because everyone learns and thinks differently. To judge ones ability other methods are applicable.

For example, after reading a book instead of a test, play out the book by memory. Of course why would someone want to do this? Well unless you want to be stupid why would one attempt anything else?

Standardized testing proves that our society, as a whole, has no effort towards gaining knowledge.

I mean who wants to cure cancer?
