I have one movie out of them all I consider good enough to go see. It seems that all the remakes are no good. It seems some of the new styles of comedy are outlandish and not really funny....drama is not as good....horror is almost all the same thing.....

Because too many moviegoers go see crappy movies.
If people would stop spending money on bad movies, Hollywood would stop making them.

Because Hollywood is run by business majors, not entertainers. Business majors are taught that the safest way to make a profit is to copy what works (thus, most Hollywood movies follow a formula). Or to remake what has worked before. Entertainers like telling stories that will resonate with people. Problem is, the "business major approach" makes scads more money than the "entertainer" approach as a whole. And for this reason, you'll get mainly bland crap that everyone has seen beofre, with the occasional interesting diamond in the rough...

Because films are primarily aimed at the teenage boy demographic, hence the current top 5 with Teenage Mutant Turtles on top. The best flicks currently only come out at the end of the year for Oscar consideration.
My cable service gives me Sundance Channel, IFC, and Turner Classic Movies; I would advise you to pay for the same if you want better flicks to watch.

i assumed with the help of Hollywood action picture you meant movies approximately Hollywood. My prominent is a famous guy or woman is Born with James Mason and Judy Garland. you somewhat get the belief of what Hollywood is like. great, great action picture.

Because you guys are all being made so stupid by your media, corporations and government, that it's impossible for them to make better movies because it would ruin the plans they have with your mind and controlling it for the next couple of years.
