there are 100 degrees on the celsuis scale from the freezing temperature to the boiling temperature of water. there are 18o degrees on the fahrenheit scale betwen these temperatures. so a change in temperature 10 degrees on the celsuis scale is equivalent to a change of how many degrees on the fahrenheit scale?

180/100 x 10 = 18

32F = 0C
212F = 100C
392F = 200C

For every 100C there are 180F
For every 1C there are 1.8F
For every 10C there are 10 x 1.8 = 18F
