I seriously doubt that there is anything you can do.
If you ever get another, make sure to write down the serial number and mark it in some way that you can identify it. Possibly carve your initials into the inside of the battery casing with a nail or maybe use an indelible marker.
Then, if it is stolen again, you can report it to the police and the pawn shops. You still will probably never see it again, but you have a slightly better chance.

I don't think so. You might be able to get a new one for free depending on how long ago you bought it. Go to the Apple website and check. It may help to know your serial number, if you don't know it I don't think you should be worried.
