Do you have any personal UFO stories?

I'm just curious as to wether anyone here has any UFO stories.

I'm looking for things that have happend to YOU not friends or some guy you meet in the pub!

Even if it's just seeing something a bit odd in the sky breifly.

I want to hear it.

To everyone who's just here for a look then fine look but please don't be rude. I'm just doing some research for a book i'm writing. Nothing written here will be put in the book. I'm just looking for similarities.

This is totally serious, not a joke, or a prank, so I don't want anyone leaving another answer that's really just an insult to me. I saw a glowing triangle shaped thing flying above a hill near my house once, and it had a long, glowing, white tail. I'm guessing that it was pretty big, but I don't really know because it was a long way away.

August,1970--- I was camping in the Snoqualmie Nat'l Forest in Washington about 8 miles below the summit. No drugs or alcohol. Lying in a sleeping bag by a stream and watching the incredibly clear sky with bright stars, occasional shooting stars, etc. Noticed a 'moving star' crossing the sky and thought it must be a satellite (rare in those days, remember.... but still, there were some) Suddenly, mid-sky and right above me it stopped, held still for a brief moment, and then shot off very quickly at a right angle to the direction it had been traveling.
Totally spooked me.
Didn't know what it was--- but I picked up my sleeping bag and retreated to a nearby cabin.

Where I live there are often weird things in the sky.

Sometimes lights from things that are the wrong shape to be a helicopter or plane.

Other times it seems to be in the clouds-like a big patch of fast moving light in a cloud that is shining down from above not the other way round.And before anyone asks yes I've seen helicopter search lights and it's nothing like that.

I saw one (well technically two) in summer 2001. I was out in the garden (at home near Wolverhampton UK) in the evening with my sister, and I saw two small dark coloured spheres high up in the air above us. All of a sudden one of them disappeared, but the other one continued travelling over our heads at a steady pace, on a straight course. There were no lights or sound coming from the craft. It was definitely not and aeroplane or an helecopter. It did not appear to be being carried by the wind, so I doubt if it was a weather balloon. Anyhow, it carried on travelling on it's course until it disappeared out of sight in the distance. My sister saw exactly the same thing. I wouldn't be so presumptuous as to proclaim that I saw an alien spaceship, but it was definitley a UFO.

Also, in 1978 my Dad saw a UFO near to his home as he reached the top of a hill. He saw two large circular lights that were visible through the clouds, moving in unison, as if it was part of the same thing, a large craft of some sort. It was too cloudy to see what that craft was exactly. It was low in the sky, maybe a few hundred feet above the ground. Two things stood out to him, (a)the slowness of the movement of these lights (b) it made NO noise whatsover.

A very long time ago now, i was taking a short cut through a field and quite near to me in the sky was a series of random flashing lights no sequence what so ever. i could see i think a domeish kinda shape to it. no way was it a plane as it hovered, and although it had all the hallmarks of a helicopter(apart from random light flashing) there was no sound?? it was a clear night in november apx 1979/80. and it's something i will never forget!
I do believe in Alien travellers but i feel my vision was a freak incident concerning a helicopter???????????

I was going to walmart one nite and when I looked back to the east I seen four lights in the sky. These lights made a diamond shape. Two lights above eachother and two side by side. When I left the store they were still there. Other people seen them too but I never found out what they were.

Back in 2001, I was sitting in a corn field when all of a sudden I heard something strange up in the sky. When I looked up I thought I had seen a UFO. I thought maybe it was due to lack of sleep but when I looked up again, I saw a circle of lights and I hightailed it out of there. The next morning I woke up and I went back to the cornfield and I saw that they had cut some sort of design in the cornfield and I contacted M. Night Shamalan asap and now I am reaping in the benefits.

I dont believe in UFO's at all..... but.... coming back from my parents house on boxing day (travelling along the M1 (UK)) we saw two really bright orange lights in the sky. (I say we - my husband, my son (aged 10), my daughter (aged 8) and me). These lights werent moving at all - just seemed to be really still. One was higher than the other. We came off the motorway (at our junction) and they were right above us. Still not moving or making a sound. we sat in traffic for ages and they still didnt move. When we finally drove off towards home, we looked behind and they were still there. We still dont know what these strange lights were. .... ?

ya, me, my sister and my aunt saw a light formation in the sky in the middle of the day. about 30 lights that shone brightly in an odd pattern - can't explain it. funny thing was, we were driving down the highway and these lights stayed with us, not like a plane that gradually disappears from view. after 10 mins. or so, they just disappeared. we couldn't believe it. to this day, i swear i saw UFOs.
