No, they don't. However the people who's identity they've stolen could lay charges, it's rare.
Usually their account is deleted and their banned from myspace, but that requires the real person to take a picture of theirself with their name or email addy or something like that and email it to Myspace Reps.

LOL - no, it rather is not real. the only time they're going to do something approximately your call, your internet site, etc is that in case you're using myspace as a front for unlawful activities. I heavily doubt an 11 year old on myspace has performed something to warrant it. maximum people do not use their real names anyhow, and you ought to not use your real call, jus for the sake of internet protection. including your real call, your city and state, your college - any pervert or new child predator must be at your domicile, college, etc interior of minutes. Even in basic terms posting photos, your schoo, activities - you would be stalked by way of predators. people your age must be very careful using myspace. a great number of creeps available in the worldwide. in case you're nevertheless in contact as to the validity of that poser, then use the Ask Tom selection and ask him approximately it. BTW? NOW your pal ought to in the present day exchange her reveal screen call, on the grounds which you in basic terms gave it away - on an rather public communicate board - that she's 11 years old. tell her it's time to alter it. sooner or later, do not out your people like that - you're doing her NO favors.

They may not go to jail for that... It is a crime to use a false name if u use it for illegal purposes. U certainly can be sued for claiming to be someone and discredit their name...
wld a 3 legged dog go to jail just for walking into a bar looking for the man who shot his PAW?

I have 2 fansites. I always leave a DISCLAIMER telling people that I am not the band or whatever, and just a fan.
If you leave a disclaimer or something your more than likely to be ok.

no, but this one can go to hell. she's partly responsible for so many of you getting your accounts deleted and may be tied to the 'reporter girl' bunch. look at who her fans are to see who you can trust!

That's a good question, because they deceive people on who they meet.
