Serves them right. For about the same price you can get XBox360 and Wii. What more does the PS3 offer ? Blue ray which may yet flop as well ! Don't even get me started on how we have to pay more than Japan and US for a lesser machine !!!

Yeah I know!!! I was looking the otherday and couldn't believe that they were going cheaper than the RRP!! Although I didn't see any for as low as £250, there was a couple that were around about £380-£420 with about 10 mins before ending!!
I wouldn't say it has crashed though - I just think people are reluctant to buy it on ebay because they know that the stores will soon restock! They are not in a hurry to get it because obviously it's not as if it is Christmas - so there is no deadline to get it by!! I think many people are waiting until it comes down in price because it is very expensive!! I think it will be successful but sales will just be steady throughout the year!!

curiously there are some severe regulations on merchandising pre-orders of consoles. human beings look prepared to pay lots of money for a pre-order, that's no assure of having a console precise away and there's a lot of room for scams so that's sensible that eBay's keeping some eyes on ps3 pre-order auctions. besides the fact that, you certainly might have the flexibility to sell consoles come launch day, as quickly as you bodily have the gadget.

What you expect, it's the 20 gb model. Nobody wants the 20 gb model. The 20 gb model is like the 360 core system, nobody wants it unless they don't have any money.
You can't exactly depend on Ebay as a reliable source. Try reading gaming mags. There's one thing that's been proven with the PS3, and that people are willing to shell out 600 bucks for it.

1) It's over-priced
2) Sony have replaced the chip which enables backwards-compatiblity with a cheaper chip. This means it can play hardly any PS1 or PS2 games. Only on the European version though
Sony are greedy. They will make their money selling/licensing games.

yeah it cause the price and Wii's are so cool because the motion and its the only video game besides ddr that gets u movin.
