Change the food and add vitamins to the water.
Hay is necessary. Get alfalfa at the pet store and have it available at all times.

I agree with the vitamins and alfalfa. could also be a type of skin infection or fungus. Does it seem to irritate them? How is the rest of the body? Eyes and nose clear? One of my guinea pigs had dry flaky spots (no hair loss though) and i would give them papaya chewables. you can get them in the vitamin aisle in any store. not only does it help with skin and hair but also aids digestion

guinea pigs need to have oranges in their diet they don't make vitamin c. and a lack of it could be causing the problem, make sure you give them fresh veg and fruit. add a vitamin supplemant to their water because that will help.and get a good guinea pig food i recommend gerty guinea pig from petsmart.
