and has a molecular formula C7H5N3O6 it is made by recting toluence, C7H8 with nitric acid, HNO3, according to the following equation:
C7H8+3HNO3¬C7H5N3O6+3H2O
1) how many kg of TNT would be produced from the reaction using 1.90g of C7H8?
2) what is the teoretical yeild(in grams) of TNT when 3.80 g of toluence is reacted with 5.80g of nitric acid?
3) if the experimental yield of TNT is 6.25g, what is the percentage yield?
