I have had "junk mail" sent in by fans, saying it was secure, and some with porno attachments without the senders' knowledge. How do I set my computer to protect it from these incidences?

It is probably too late. Never give your ISP email address on the web. Always use a free one that you can drop or change. You invited the junk mail by allowing fans. That is a NONO. Never open any of that junk or risk getting a very serious infection!!
