Isn't this just the dumbest look ever? Everytime classes start up again after spring break there are a couple freaks walking around...white girls with their hair braided and an orange fake tan. why do girls keep doing this? is someone telling them that they look hot?

garnet, did i say it was a "black thing"? i never mentioned black people. i wrote that braids and fake tans look stupid on white girls. nobody is talking about black people. sometimes you cant say one word without the PC police busting down the door.

There's nothing wrong with braided hair. Our granddaughters had their hair done when the family went on a cruise. It's not a "black thing". That is a racist
remark and I feel sorry for you. I would have thought that you were better than
that. If I had the money, I'd get mine partially done the way our granddaughters
did. It's cool and I think that it looks really smart. This comes from a 65 year old
who is not an old fogey or racist. Why would this bother you? You know--I feel

Honestly, I don't know but perhaps since they are on Spring Break and visiting an island, they try to be different and fit in with the locals or just having fun.

I just got back from the Domican Republic..lots of people were getting braids there...maybe they are not fake?
