interesting question. It IS true that Norway had the highest rate of people high from cholesterol related coronary disease in all of Europe about 10-15 years ago. They were so ambarrassed by the findings that they decided to implement full scale changes including promotion of education, schooling and subsidisation of healthier food. There is also a LOT of advertising with regards to the benefits of a healthier diet. As a result, Norway now has one of the LOWEST incidents of coronary heart disease in all of Europe.
